摘　　要：介绍了第五种力假说提出后出现的"地球物理窗口"理论及各种检验第五种力的实验方法,给出了对第五种力进行研究的进展情况.The fifth force is a new medium-range force which has yet to be studied in physics.The theoretical approach and experimental test of the fifth force spened the way for the eventual solution to the'mystery of the gravitational attraction'.The statement of'geophysical window'which arose when'the hypothesis of the fifth force'was being studied.The various experimental methods of testing the fifth force,and the latest development of research on the fifth force are introduced.
