摘　　要：本文介绍了国内外应用传统医药及民族药物学知识和经验,以及民族药物学的新药开发方法。认为民族医药是新药开发的潜在资源库,民族药物学在新药研究开发中具有重大的科学价值和意义。提出在强调生物多样性保护、民族医药可持续发展和知识产权保护重要意义的同时,应采用现代多学科交叉研究方法,突出民族药物学导向筛选方法,加快民族药新药的开发研究;尽快开展传统医药知识产权的立法保护,并加强民族药物学方面的高层次人材培养。建议借鉴国外在非洲ICBG等新药开发与生物多样性保护项目的经验,加大民族药物学方面的科学研究经费投入,积极探索更合理的研究思路和方法,进一步促进民族药物学、新药开发与民族医药可持续发展。This article presents the knowledge and experience in the application of traditional medicine and ethno pharmacology as well as the methods for the development of new drugs by ethno pharmacology at home and abroad .It holds that the medicine of national minorities is a potential treasury in the development of new drugs and ethno pharmacology is of great scientific value and significance in the research and development of new drugs ,and proposes that the research of new drugs in the medicine of national minorities should speed up via modern methods of multi-disciplinary research, especially the screening method guided by ethno pharmacology , the legislation and protection of the intellectual property right of traditional medicine should be rapidly carried on and the fostering of high-level personnel in the area of ethno pharmacology should be strengthened while emphasizing the great significance in the protection of bio-diversity, the sustainable development of the medicine of national minorities and the protection of intellectual property right. And it suggests that the experience of such programs as ICBG for the development of new drugs and the protection of bio-diversity, which have been conducted in African by other countries, should be taken for a reference, making larger investment in the scientific research of ethno pharmacology and probbing more rational ideas and methods of research so as to further promote the sustainable development of ethno pharmacology, the research of new drugs and the medicine of national minorities.
