摘　　要：记述采自新疆维吾尔自治区阿勒泰地区蚋属绳蚋亚属Simulium(Gomphostilbia)一新种,即阿勒泰绳蚋Simulium(Gomphostilbia)altayensesp. nov.,仅对雌虫形态进行了描述并与其近缘种比较作分类讨论。Simulium （Gomphostilbia） altayense sp. nov. is described based on the female specimens collected from Altay, Xinjiang, China. This species is assigned to the subgenus Gomphostilbia, and is closely related to S. （G.）tashikulganense Mahe, Ma and An, 2003 and S. （ G. ） meadowi Mahe, An and Ma, 2003. However, it is clearly differentiated from them by the structure of genital fork, genital plate, paraproct and cereus of the female. All the specimens are deposited in the Medical Entomology Collection Gallery, Academy of Military Medical Sciences, Beijing.
