摘　　要：Stratix是Altera公司推出的面向高带宽系统的可编程逻辑器件。该系列器件具有非常高的内核性能、存储能力、架构效率和及时面市的优势。它提供了专用的时钟管理功能和数字信号处理(DSP)应用及多种I/O标准。此外,Stratix器件还具有片内匹配和远程系统升级能力。设计系统中采用的EP1S40型器件是其代表之一,文中介绍了该器件的新特性,给出在视频字符叠加中的应用。Stratix device is the programmable logic device family aiming at the high bandwidth application. It is provided with high performance in kernel ,high density in memory structure, the advantage in the efficiency of facing market, new interconnect structure. It supports the special clock managemenl and application of DSP and the many I/O standards. Stratix device has match in the chip and remole upgrading functions. EP1S40 used in the research system is one of the presentation. The new feature of EP1S40 and its application in the overlapping video characters are introduced.
