摘　　要：以杭州湖滨传统街区和嘉兴西塘地区为例,从保持空间的整体性,维持历史延续性两方面,分析了景观特征要素在保持城市传统街区整体历史风貌中的重要作用,并探讨了景观特征要素的运用手法。Taking as an example the traditional urban streets at the lakeside in Hangzhou and those in Xitang region of Jiaxing, the paper focuses on the preservation of the spatial whole and the maintenance of the historical continuation, analyses the important role the landscape characteristic elements play in preserving the integral historical style and features of the traditional urban streets, and discusses the means of using the landscape characteristic elements.
