摘  要:在昆虫中,尿酸不仅有排泄氮代谢废物的功能,还具有抗氧化的作用。普通的家蚕体壁由于尿酸的蓄积而不透明,而在没有尿酸蓄积的突变体中体壁却透明或半透明。有大约25个油蚕突变的形成与尿酸的生成、运输和蓄积相关。将油蚕作为研究尿酸代谢的模型,有助于阐明其他动物体内尿酸代谢的机制,对人的高尿酸血症和痛风的治疗及药物的开发有所帮助。Not only does uric acid in insects helps to excrete nitrogenous metabolites, it also has an antioxidation function. Normal silkworm (Bombyx mori) larvae have opaque skin due to uric acid accumulation while its mutants have transparent or translucent larva; epidermis owing to the lack of uric acid accumulation. The formation of more than 25 oil silkworm mutants is thought to be associated with the synthesis, transport and accumulation of uric acid. Hopefully, it may be of significance for the elucidation the mechanism of uric acid metabolism in other animals to use the oily mutants as a model for uric acid metabolism study and thus help to develop medicines against gout and treat human victims of the disease.
