摘　　要：本文从以往海洋倾废区选划中存在的问题出发，结合国内外海洋倾废区的选划实例，论述了同位素技术在海洋倾废区选划中的重要作用。为了提高倾废区的选划质量，作者建议尽快制定《海洋倾废区选划规范》，并将有关的同位素技术纳入该规范之中。In this paper, an important function of isotopic techniques for designating ocean dumping areas has been discussed according to the formerly existing problems of designating areas for dumping at sea by the State Oceanic Adminiatration in the light of concrete examples of such designating at home and abroad. In order to raise the quality of designation of dumping areas, the writers have proposed that the standards for designation of ocean dumping areas be formulated as soon as possible and the relevant isotopic techniques be incorporated into those standards.
