摘　　要：从影响社会文化变迁的主要因素和我国社会文化变迁的基本趋势入手,分析了西北地区社会文化的基本特点,探讨了旅游业的发展对西北地区社会文化变迁的积极作用和带来的不利影响,使旅游活动和旅游业成为推动西北地区社会文化变迁良性发展的重要动力.Through the analysis of the major factors of social and cultural changes and the fundamental trend in such changes in China, this paper analyzes the basic characteristics of the society and culture in the northwest China, and positive as well as negative influences on social and cultural changes brought by the development of tourist industry. The conclusion is that the tourist industry should turn into an important factor to promote the better development in social cultural changes in the northwest China.
