从“小姐”的嬗变看语言的社会镜象功能

摘　　要：语言与社会的发展紧密相联,能够反映社会现象、映射社会变化。当社会生活发生渐变或激变时,作为社会现象的语言会应社会需要而出现变化。从历时的角度来看,“小姐”这一称谓语的使用及其含义的嬗变是社会变迁的结果,社会的变革与发展通过“小姐”的几多沉浮而反映出来,并由此揭示了称谓语的变化与社会各因素之间极为密切的关系。Language is closely connected with the development of society. Social phenomena and social changes can be reflected in language. When society changes gradually or sharply, language will show some changes to cater to the demands of society. From the chronological angle, the transmutations of the address term “Xiao Jie” in usage and connotational meaning is the result of social changes and shifts. Social changes and social development can be reflected in changes of “Xiao Jie”. Thereby, the close relationship between the changes of the address term and the various social factors is revealed.
