摘　　要：介绍的是一个实验性的系统。它将JB IG-2黑白二值图像压缩技术用于数字图书馆的海量数据存储和网上传输,并已在天津泰达图书馆得到了成功的应用。The paper is about an experimental system. JBIG -2 black and white image compression technique is applied to the great deal of data storage and the net transportation. This system has been carried into execution successfully.
