摘　　要：简要讨论了分布式多层应用的软件容错和负载平衡,并基于Microsoft Windows平台COM/DCOM技术做了基本实现。用于演示的C/S模式的实例,具备基本粗粒度(请求事件级)的刚性作业负载平衡和容错能力。This paper provided an implementation of software fault tolerance and load balance on a distributed muti --tiered application that based on C/S mode on Microsoft Windows platform with COM/DCOM support. Distributed computing and parallel processing represent an important direction for scientific/engineering computing, enterprise computing, and large--scale data processing. Fault tolerance technology can strengthen computing systems＇ reliability for these fields, and load balance technology can strengthen their availability, these two also can be implemented through software and hardware. The demo instance based on C/S mode has basic coarse--grain （requirement event level） rigid task fault tolerance and load balance features.
