摘 要:“谷上谷”的植株外部形态和生育过程与普通谷没有明显的区别,但由于在穗分化中“谷上谷”的刚毛小穗原基较普通谷的刚毛原基伸长后顶端保持继续分化小穗的能力,从而形成了具有刚毛顶端可结实的刚毛小穗这一特征。正在发育的刚毛小穗在其迅速伸长时分化较慢,当伸长到一定程度时即加快分化,缩短了与相邻的普通小穗分化所形成的差距。刚毛小穗在不同的发育程度上都可能发生退化,退化程度与环境条件有关,退化的部位以穗的基部和一级枝梗的基部比较严重。Millet with bristle-spiklets is a morphologically unique type of millet.We have ob- served that millet with bristle-spikelets does not differ from millet with normal spikelets inthe early stages of spike differentiation,but they differ in the final stages that lead to the de-velopment of bristle-spikelets.The main difference is that bristle-spikelets maintain the ca-pability of differentiation throughout the process of elongation.After completing the pro-cess of elongation,the spikelets mature and become fertile.The bristle-spikelets are sensi-tive to the environment.When the conditions are not optimum for development there is atendancy for the bristle-spikelets to degenerate and become infertile.The most serious de-generation takes place at the basal part of the spike and at the primary branch of the mil-let.
