摘　　要：湖北民间音乐文化在我国音乐文化史上具有一定的地位,曾经辉煌一时。但是,随着市场经济体制的建立,人们盲目的生产活动或对自然资源的大肆开发,致使民间音乐文化失去了赖以生存和发展的土壤;现代文化的冲击,则加速了湖北民间音乐文化的萎缩;对民间音乐及其文化的挖掘、保护措施乏力,则说明思想观念需要转变;而真正从根本上解决问题,振兴湖北民间音乐文化,则需要从管理上、技术上、经费上等方面采取综合措施。The folk music once stood a leading position in the Chinese music history.However, with the establishment of market-oriented economy system,people＇s aimless activity wiped out the basis on which the folk music depends. On the other hand,the strike of modem culture accelerates the shrink of the folk music.So to develop and protect it,we should think problems thoroughly, and we must take positive measures in administration, technology, and finance, etc.
