摘　　要：利用超声波测量距离是一种有效的非接触式测距方法；基于ATmega8单片机的超声波测距仪采用渡越时间法进行超声波测距，介绍了其硬件及软件设计方案，并对其由温度变化带来的误差进行了补偿；该测距仪比其它单片机控制的超声波测距仪具有更高的性价比，可广泛应用于各种需要测量距离或物位参数的场合。Distance measurement based on acoustic waves is an effective , noninvasive method. The principle of the time of flight （TOF） method is described to find range and the design project of ultrasonic distance measurement instrument based on ATmega8 single - chip microcomputer. The ultrasonic range finder may be applied in all kinds of fields that need to measure distance or liquid level.
