摘　　要：智能电话终端是一个集录音留言、自动应答、个人信息管理和拨号上网等功能于一身的设备。文中介绍了在智能电话终端上实现IM软件的过程中所遇到的问题和相应的解决方案。详细描述了在终端资源有限的情况下,如何选择IM软件所需实现的功能,并利用现有的开源项目,对它进行裁剪和扩充,然后在PC机上进行模拟调试,最后通过交叉编译生成相应的可执行代码再下载到目标平台上,从而完成了一个嵌入式系统上的利用开源项目的应用软件的开发。Intelligent telephone terminal is a multifunctional device that can record messages, automatically answer calls, manage personal information and connect to the Internet via dial- up line. This paper introduces the problems and relevant solutions during the implementation of IM software based on the intelligent tdephone terminal. Firstly the consideration is how to choose the necessary functions according to the limited resource, then update and expand the existing open source project, debug the project on simulative PC environment. Finally the executable programs are cross- compiled and downloaded to the terminal. That＇s the process of development of the application software on the embedded system based on open source project.
