摘  要:利用单模光纤(SMF)扭转双折射较小的特征,设计了全光纤偏振测试系统。用琼斯矩阵方法给出了系统的工作原理,分析了其测试精度。实验表明,用消光比(ER)为50 dB的保偏光纤(PMF)偏振器和角度分辨率为5000 step/rotation的伺服电机组成的全光纤偏振测试系统具有大于40 dB的ER测量范围以及0.05 dB的测量精度。该系统克服了用分立元件组成的传统偏振测试系统重复性不高、稳定性不好的缺点,并具有结构简单、操作容易等优点。With the characteristic of small twist birefringence in single mode fiber(SMF) an all fiber polarization measurement system is designed. The operating principle of the system is given,and the measurement accuracy is analyzed by method of Jones matrix. The experimental results demonstrate that all fiber polarization measurement system which is consisted of two fiber polarizers with the extinction ratio(ER) of 50 dB and servo motor with angle resolution of 5 000 step/rotation has polarization measurement range of more than 40 dB and measurement resolution of 0.05 dB. The repeatability and stability of the system have been improved compared with that which is consisted of discrete optic devices. The system is easy to operate with simple structure.
