摘　　要：交际离不开语言和文化,有效的交际不仅仅是一个语言技巧的问题,还涉及到文化因素的方方面面。本文从人们的交际模式入手,论述了英汉语言中的文化意识对跨文化交际的影响,以及英语言教学中对学生跨文化意识与交际意识的培养。Language and culture are the two important factors in cross-culture communication. A successful communication is not only concerned with language skills, but also the factors of culture. This paper presents the communication models and gives an analysis of the differences between English and Chinese language and culture. It is suggested that English teachers should make the students learn language as well as the culture that the language belongs to.
