摘　　要：通过对我国目前旅游公路建设上存在的主要问题的分析,借鉴美国在公路设计上的灵活性和注重细节的设计理念,同时,结合被交通部列为公路与自然相和谐的“示范工程”———川主寺至九寨沟公路在边沟、边坡、交通工程设施设计中的独特之处,全面阐述了旅游公路“安全、舒适、与自然环境相协调”的设计理念.By analyzing the main problems about touristy road construction in China at present, combining the particular design in side ditch, side slope and traffic safety installations of chuanzhusi - jiuzhaigou highway which had been named ＂demonstration engineering＂ that highway is in accordance with natural environment by Ministry of Communications, this paper discusses the design idea of touristy road, in order to create a safer and more comfortable road conditions and environment for drivers and passengers. In addition, learning from 〈Landscape and Aesthetics Design Manual〉, which is published by American, highway landscape and road environment has been studied in this paper.
