摘 要:利用理想的均匀和涡旋风场模拟了多普勒雷达径向风资料,检验了VAP方法的反演能力,发现VAP方法对均匀风场反演能力很强,而对涡旋风场反演效果较差,分析显示局地均匀风的假定是主要原因.针对该假定过于理想化的特点,结合实际风场提出了扩展VAP方法,模拟资料对比试验表明,扩展VAP方法计算简便,能显著提高雷达径向风的反演质量,反演风场在风速大小和方向上都更合理.实例反演也证明了扩展VAP方法的反演性能,与双多普勒雷达反演结果基本一致.最后还结合气候极值、时空连续性条件对反演结果进行了质量订正,使反演的风场质量得到了进一步提高,为资料的下一步数值应用奠定了基础.Single-Doppler radar radial velocity fields simulated by perfect wind field are employed to analysis the VAP method capability for various wind field. It is indicated that VAP method has more strong capability for local uniform wind field than for vortex wind field, and its main reason is related to this assumption of local uniform wind. The extendedVAP method hereby is proposed and verified using simulated data for local variational wind field that no satisfying the supposition of VAP method. The results show that the extended-VAP method could obviously improve the retrieval capability for local variational wind fields, and the wind fields of retrieval are more reasonable on direction and velocity of wind vector. It has further proven the retrieval capability of extended-VAP method via the retrieval example and the comparison with the result of Dual-Doppler analysis. Based this method, several quality control methods were developed and applied to the retrieved wind field including extremal check, spatial continuity check and temporal consistency check, the quality of retrieved wind is much improved.
