摘　　要：城域网正在从单纯的传送网向业务网演进,需要新的传送平台的支持。文章分析了基于SDH平台的多业务传送平台(M STP)提供新业务的原理,并介绍了M STP上的各种应用,认为融合虚容器(VC)级联、链路容量调整(LCAS)和通用成帧规程(G FP)等相关技术的多业务传送平台(M STP),可以实现多种业务的综合接入和汇聚;由于M STP可以内嵌弹性分组环(RPR)、多协议标签交换(M PLS)等技术,因此可以支持如虚拟专用网(VPN)和按需带宽(BoD)等新业务,并适应未来3G业务的发展。The Metropolitan Area Network （MAN） is evolving from pure transport network to service network, which requires the support of new transport platforms. This paper analyzes the principles of how the SDH-based Multi-Service Transport Platform （MSTP） provides new services, and describes the service applications. It is noted that the MSTP, while combining Virtual Concatenation （VC）, Link Capacity Adjustment Scheme （LCAS）, Generic Framing Procedure （GFP） and other relevant technologies, can implement multi-service integrated access and convergence. MSTP can be embedded with Resilient Packet Ring （RPR） and MPLS technologies, thus supporting new services such as Virtue Private Network （VPN） and Bandwidth-on-Demand （BoD）, and future 3G services.
