摘　　要：A new Chinese journal, Optoelectronics Letters （in English）, has been published on 15 July 2005 as the companion journal to Journal of Optoelectronics·Laser （the core journal in Chinese）. The aim is rapid dissemination of new important results in the fields of Optoelectronics/Photonics from China and other countries to advanced the nternational academic exchanges.
