摘　　要：本文介绍了基于IEEE802.16系列标准宽带无线接入技术W iMAX的概念,叙述了W iMAX技术研究的历史和现状及其技术标准,详细阐述了W iMAX的关键技术,最后给出了W iMAX技术今后的研究方向和应用前景。The concept of WiMAX based on the IEEE 802. 16 family of standards is presented. The research history, the present situation and the technology standards about the WiMAX are proposed. The key technologies of the WiMAX are discussed in detail. Finally, the potential development trend and prospect are presented.
