摘　　要：采用文献研究法、调查研究法等,分析了举办亚运会对广州经济社会的影响及各举办国的经验教训,并提出了办好亚运会的几点对策。The development of contemporary sports meets held in Macao are closely linked with Macao's politics,economy,and society.After Macao's return to China,sports meets there have been developing rapidly.The development of contemporary sports meets held in Macao heve experienced three stages: the initial stage,the common stage,and the rapid stage.Basic features of these sports meets can be summed up as follows: strong colonial features of the pre-return period;mutual fusion of east and west sports culture;amateur characteristics;support from a wide range of people;regular sports rules;combinations of international competitions and travel activities.With Macao's return to China and being sponsor of the 2005 East Asia Games,the 2006 Portuguese Country Olympic Games,the Second Asia Indoors Sports Meet,the contemporary sports level in Macao has been and will be greatly improved.
