摘　　要：本文指出认识不足是高校校友工作所面临的主要问题,分析了对高校校友工作重视不够的可能原因,明确提出高校校友工作的生命力在于以促进个人、高校及社会和谐发展(即促进校友自身的进步和发展、高校的建设和发展、地方的经济建设和社会发展)为目标。This article point＇s out that shortcoming in cognition is the major problem on university alumni work. It analyzes the possible reasons that lead to this problem. Finally, this research concludes the vital force of university alumni work lies on the harmonious development of person, university and society. This “harmonious development” includes “developing the alumni, developing the construction of universities, and developing the local economic advancement and social progress”. This should be taken as the aim of university alumni work.
