摘　　要：蒙古西征是世界历史上最重大的历史事件之一,长久以来,人们对此褒贬不一。笔者用历史唯物主义的观点,从东西方文化交流史的角度对这一曾震撼世界的重大历史事件作一些探讨,以达到能够全面、客观地评价这一重大历史事件的目的。The Ancient Mongolian＇s ＂Western Conquering＂, which is expressed neither praise nor censure for a long time, is one of the most important events in the history. This historical event which once stirred the whole world is probed with the view of historical materialism to achieve the goal of criticizing comprehensively and objectively through the culture communication between the east and the west.
