摘 要:述评了高温超导第二代线材研究的最新进展,着重介绍了美国AMSC的一种低成本的RABi TS/MOD新技术,涉及基带和超导层的选择,大规模连续制备工艺,钉扎对提高磁场下电流密度的作用,并预测了第二代线材扩大生产规模和商品化的发展前景.Second generation HTS wire has made a major transition during the last few years, from a research project in many laboratories worldwide to credible product development and the start of manufacturing scale-up. The progresses in the second generation (2G) HTS wire have been reviewed in this paper, especially from American Superconductor (AMSC). This wire production process based on the RABiTS^TM/MOD technology, is the lowest cost among known processes being developed worldwide. The 2G HTS wire is now rapidly approaching the threshold performance level for commercial applications of 2G wire, which is about 300 A/cm-width at liquid nitrogen temperatures. These practical 2G HTS wires not only have excellent electrical properties, but also the mechanical properties required for electrical equipment applications, such as power transmission cables, motors and future weapons systems.
