摘　　要：统一建模语言(Unified Modeling Language)已成为一种面向对象建模语言的标准,它溶入了软件工程领域的新思想、新方法和新技术。它的作用域不限于支持面向对象的分析与设计,还支持从需求分析开始的软件开发的全过程。本文以基于网络的玉米模拟模型系统为例,利用统一建模的技术和方法,阐述了UML在管理信息系统开发和建设中的应用。UML, Unified Modeling language is a kind of standard of object-oriented modeling language which includes new theories, new methods and new technologies of software engineering field. It not only applies to object-oriented design and analysis, but also supports the whole process of software development beginning with requirement analysis. In this paper, the methods and teclmiques of UML are introduced. Applications of UML in MIS development and construction are described through an example of MIS of maize simulation model based on Web.
