KAP of Adolescence Among Middle School Students in Rural Areas in China

摘　　要：目的了解农村地区在校中学生青春期有关知识、态度、行为状况和保健需求,为在农村开展适宜的性教育和生殖健康服务提供可靠的科学依据.方法选择青海省、山西省、浙江省各1个县,采用整群抽样的方法,共选取3 012名15～19岁在校中学生进行问卷调查.结果初潮平均年龄为(14.07±1.27)岁,首次遗精平均年龄为(15.05±1.39)岁;手淫发生率为17.9%,发生首次手淫的平均年龄为(15.09±1.09)岁.中学生普遍缺乏生殖健康相关知识,学生对有关生殖健康知识的需求主要为如何处理与异性朋友的关系、青春期生理心理变化知识、预防性病/艾滋病传播的措施等.结论农村地区亟待有针对性地开展青少年性和生殖健康教育.Objective To study the knowledge, attitude and practice of adolescence and the requirements of health among middle school students in rural area in China, and to provide scientific evidence for conducting sex and reproductive health education in rural areas. Methods With the method of questionnaire survey, a cluster sample of 3 012 students（ aged 15 - 19） were investigated. They were chosen from Qinghai Province,Shanxi Province and Zhejiang Province. Results The average age of menarche was 14.07 ± 1.27, the average age of the first spermatorrhea was 15.05 ± 1.39. The incidence of masturbation was 17.9% and the average age for the first time was 15.09 ± 1.09. The middle school students were generally in shortage of reproductive knowledge .＇Fneir requirements on reproductive health were as following： how to deal with the relationship with heterosexual friends, knowledge on physical and psychological changes at puberty and preventive measures of STD/AIDS. Conclusion It is urgent to carry out health education on sex and reproduction among rural adolescents in China.
