摘　　要：介绍了虚拟现实技术的构成和技术特点,回顾了虚拟现实技术的发展历史和研究背景,分析了虚拟现实系统的应用现状,重点论述了分布式虚拟现实系统的应用和发展前景。This paper surveys the developing history and the research background of virtual reality. It recommends the constituent parts and technological traits of VR, analyzes VR application in remote control, emulation technique and object visualization. It also stresses the application and expectation in distributed VR.
