摘 要:本文探讨非汉字圈学生汉语双字词学习中的频率效应。实验以一年级非汉字圈学生为被试,从课本中随机选取了62个双字词进行测验,并统计了整词和单字在课文中的复现率。结果显示:1)整词的复现率影响双字词的学习效果,在课文中出现过1次的双字词成绩好于没出现过的成绩;2)字的复现率影响双字词的学习,字的复现率越高,词的学习效果越好。这种影响在字复现率较低时比较大,较高时比较小。本文最后对频率效应的作用机制、频率效应对教学的启示进行了讨论。This paper is an investigation of the frequency effects of word and character on disyllabic word learning by foreign students from non-character-using countries. The investigation is based on an experiment in which 62 disyllabic words of various word and character frequency were selected at random from the learned texts and presented to the first-year students as testees. They were asked to write down the words in Pinyin and their English equivalents. The results show that, 1) word frequency had an effect on word learning, and the words occurring once in the text were learned better than those that did not occur; and 2) character frequency also had an effect on word learning, and the words consisting of high-frequency characters were learned better than those of low-frequency characters. And the effects are stronger for low-frequency-character words than for the high-frequency ones. The mechanism of the frequency effects and the implication to teaching are discussed in the final part.
