摘　　要：为推动我国社会主义民主政治建设,邓小平以马克思主义基本立场和观点,用实事求是的分析态度,矛盾分析的方法,立足于社会生产力的发展和现代民主社会的建设,有针对性地分析和把握当代资本主义社会的民主特征和积极因素,为社会主义民主发展提供了许多有益的借鉴。In order to promote socialist democratic politics, Deng Xiao-ping, the veteran revolutionist, analyzed the features of contemporary capitalist democratic politics, intending to provide a beneficial reference for the development of social productive force and the construction of a modern democratic society. Adopting the method of contradiction analysis, he based his new insights on Marxism and the principle of seeking truth from facts.
