摘　　要：运用社会学、教育心理学原理,分析了当代大学生的身心特点及其对学校体育功能一般作用的认识,阐述了学校体育功能的内涵,指出为促进大学生身心全面和谐的发展必须发挥学校体育功能的作用。By adopting the theories of sociology and educational psychology, this article analyzes the mental and physical characteristics of modern college students and the realization of the significance of P. E functions, and explains the important functions of P. E.. putting forward that the physical and mental development of college students can only be carried out thoroughly and harmoniously on the basis of full exertion of P. E. in college education.
