摘　　要：对1891年的热河金丹道起义,早期学界研究认为,是长江领域的反洋教斗争在辽西地区推向高潮的一次斗争,是反帝反封建的斗争。但是在笔者们梳理史料过程中,发现事实非如前所说,而实为蒙、汉民族间的一次血腥仇杀。蒙、汉民族为此都付出了沉重的代价。怎样看待民族冲突,是一个值得探讨的话题。Jindandao Uprising in Rehe in 1891 was generally thought m be a further development and a climax of anti - western - religion struggle along the Yangtze River, an anti - imperialist and anti - feudalist struggle. However, while sorting out the historical materials, the writer has found that it was not the case; the uprising was in essence a blood revenge murder between Han and Mongolian nationalities. Both nationalities had paid price. Therefore, the treatment of nationality conflicts is worth researching.
