摘　　要：为满足日益增长的高速互联网连接和网络多媒体服务的需求,3GPPW-CDMAR5版本中引入高速下行分组接入HSDPA(HighSpeedDownlinkPacketAccess)技术。W-CDMA引入HSDPA技术可以提供高速率的数据连接和更大的用户容量,并且向下兼容R99版本。本文详细介绍了HSDPA新的接口类型和特性,并基于TCP和UE容量两个方面对HSDPA系统新特性进行了分析。High Speed Downlink Packet Access（HSDPA） is specified in the 3GPP WCDMA Release-5 to cope with the increasing demand of high-speed Internet-based multimedia servies.HSDPA is based on techniques such as Adaptive Modulation and Coding HARQ,and fast scheduling, which can provide higher-speed data connection and more user capacity.This paper provides an overiew of the protocol architecture of HSDPA and discusses the function and effects from the view of UE capacity and TCP.
