摘　　要：Casimir效应本质上是由于边界的出现,时空的弯曲或是某些背景场的存在而引起的量子场真空能量。就Casimir效应的本质以及研究进展,包括该效应的实验验证情况作了探讨。The Casimir energy can be considered as the polarization of the vacuum energy of quantized fields due to the distortion caused by the presence of boundaries, curvature of the space-time manifold or some background fields. The research progress of Casimir energy including the experimental results was discussed.
