摘　　要：本文介绍了一种新型的海洋测深系统:扫描式航空激光海岸测量仪。主要介绍了它的各子系统及其功能、在传统的测深系统上的改进、目前还存在的缺陷及其主要的发展方向。SHOALS is a complete, integrated and self-contained, laser-based, swath surveying tool for shallow （〈 40m depth） coastal waters. It is designed for operation on a fixed-wing aircraft or helicopter. A description of the fundamentals and benefits of the technology is highlighted in this paper.
