摘　　要：弗吉尼亚.沃尔夫自传体小说《到灯塔去》中塑造的拉姆齐先生形象属于传统的天父意象。他关注事业,尽职养家。但与以地母意象出现的拉姆齐夫人相比,他与孩子们的关系却显得生硬而疏远。本文对拉姆齐先生的父亲意象进行了详细剖析,分析他最初的天父形象所具有的弊端以及后期转变所带来的与子女关系的转机,试图探讨出一种理想的家庭抚养模式。In Virginia Woolf＇s autobiographical novel To the Lighthouse, Mr. Ramsay is a Sky Father. He is a good professor and family-supporter. However, compared with Mrs. Ramsay the Earth Mother, he is not a good father in the eyes of his children. This thesis aims to analyze in detail the father image of Mr. Ramsay in the novel- the man＇s incapability in getting along with his children at first and his change after Mrs. Ramsay＇s death at last. The paper attempts to find a perfect way in children＇s upbringing.
