摘　　要：快速成型技术可以由三维CAD模型直接制造出具有复杂结构的零件。分段沉积/雕铣成型是一种传统快速成型和CNC雕铣加工相结合的复合成型工艺。介绍了分段沉积/雕铣成型工艺的原理、装置和软件,探讨了该工艺在快速模具制造中的应用。Complex shape parts could be manufactured by Rapid Prototyping （RP） technique through CAD three-dimensional model. Segmented Manufacturing via Deposition ＆ Sculpture （SMDS） was based on the combination of conventional RP technology and CNC sculpture milling, The principle of the forming technology, the applied device and software were introduced. The application in rapid die manufacturing was discussed as well.
