摘　　要：编辑删改作者的稿件,不应该看作编辑工作者的权力,它是出版单位赋予编辑工作者的应尽职责。编辑删改的所有内容,本质上都是编辑实施出版目的和审稿意见对作者的要求。由编辑工作者直接改稿,其实践理论建立在出版单位实施出版的效益原则上,因为从主客观条件上说,编辑比作者本人更能贯彻文化传媒对稿本的修改意图,或者是传播的效益要求在时间上不容许翻来覆去地由作者完成修改。修改稿件应保障作者的著作权,这就要求编辑工作者不仅有较高的编辑学养,而且要有尊重作者、科学严谨的编辑作风。It is an obligation entitled to editors by publishing unit, rather than a power, to edit and modify contributions. What is modified ought to be the editor＇s demand on the contributor for the sake of publication. The practical theory of modifying the contribution is established on the basis of making profit for the publishers, therefore, the editor is more clear of the purpose and intention of modification. And it is impossible for contributors to modify the contribution time and again considering the profit and time issues. However, editors should guarantee contributors＇ copyrights, which requires that editors should be highly cultivated, should respect contributors and develop scientific editing style.
