摘　　要：西部地区由于受自然环境和社会经济等因素的制约,农村的卫生发展落后于中东部地区。使用安全饮用水和卫生厕所的家庭比例较低;婴儿死亡率和孕产妇死亡率显著高于中东部地区;传染病的防治面临着严峻的形势;大部分居民缺乏医疗保障,居民自费医疗的比例偏高。As the western areas are restricted by dement, social economy, etc, the health development of western rural areas falls behind the middle and eastern areas. The household proportion of which use security tap water and the hygienic toilets is lower; the babies mortality rate and pregnant women＇s mortality rate are remarkably higher than middle and eastern areas; the situation of preventing and controlling of infectious disease is austere; the majority of western inhabitants lack the health insurance, and the proportion of self-payment is high.
