摘　　要：Java语言具有跨平台运行的特性,它针对不同设备和应用领域的开发提供了解决方案。J2ME是JavaAPI和JVM虚拟机的一个缩减版本,同样具有“一次开发,到处运行”的特性,并且服务于不同的无线设备的开发。从介绍J2ME的特性入手,分析了J2ME在无线网络通信开发方面与WAP技术相比较的优势,结合J2ME M IDP编程的特点,提出了基于HTTP协议开发Java手机C/S模式的网络通信的解决办法,并给出了实现方案。Java language has the feature of cross platform running. It provides solutions according to development of different equipments and application domains. J2ME is a reduced edition of Java API and JVM hypothesized machine. It also has the characteristic of ＂write once, run anywhere ＂ and it serves development of different wireless equipments. The characteristics of J2ME are introduced and the advantages of J2ME in wireless network communication development are analyzed comparing with WAP technology. A solution using HTTP to develop network communication of C/S pattern Java handset is proposed combining the features of J2ME MIDP programming and its realization is put forward.
