摘　　要：文章将中国“双城”———《边城》与《围城》两部杰作放在一起加以比较和讨论,试图透过这两座“城”领略其彰显的两种人生基型和成因;同时通过对两个文本所蕴涵的人生形式、人性思想的深层发掘,以及对两位作者所选取的文化立场与叙写模式的比较分析,从中体悟两位作家对人生与艺术的独特思考和创造。This article compares and discusses two prominent novels Bian Cheng and Wei Cheng. Through them, we try to enjoy the art of life, feel the subtlety of human nature and grasp the type and cause of two kinds of lives shown in the two novels. At the same time, by the excavation of the thought about life form and thought about human nature contained in the two novels, and the analysis about the two writers＇ cultural position and narration mode, we may find out their individual thought and creation about life and art.
