摘　　要：After a strict scrutiny by an international jury, a system for biomass gasification and power generation developed by the CAS Guanzhou Institute of Energy Conversion （IEC） has been chosen as one of the eight winners of the BlueSky Award in2005. The event was jointly sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the International Technology Promotion Center for Sustainable Development in Shenzhen, in south China＇s Guangdong Province.
