摘　　要：提出了一种通过测量方坯截面面积在线计算方坯质量的方法,通过该方法可以实现方坯的定重剪切。将线型激光线垂直投射到连铸方坯表面,利用面阵CCD摄像机采集激光线在方坯表面的图像,从图像中提取激光线条。根据所提出的简化面积算法可以用提取到的激光线条快速求取方坯截面面积,并通过机器视觉方法测量的方坯长度值,可以在线计算方坯的质量,从而实现方坯的定重剪切。A new on-line calculation method for billet weight by measuring its cross section was presented, and cut-by-weight of billets could be realized by this method. The linear laser beam is projected on the surface of continuous cast billets vertically; the images of laser beam on the billet are captured by a CCD area-scan camera and then laser strips are extracted from the images. According to the simplified area algorithm, the cross section of billets can be obtained rapidly through images of laser beam, and the length of billets can be measured with machine vision technique, then the weight of billets can be on-line calculated, thus cut-by-weight technique of billets is realized.
