摘  要:不论是从财产来源还是经营模式看,西门庆都不具备新兴商人的性质,而更多地带有封建商人的特征。他虽然亵渎封建政治,破坏封建秩序,但他破坏和亵渎的却正是封建政治、封建秩序中最符合民众利益的部分。他固守封建等级制度和封建婚姻制度,以残害女性为乐,和明代后期新兴市民以及启蒙思潮的思想家们并无共同之处。他所固守的正是封建政治和封建秩序中最丑恶的部分。他放纵的性生活,非但不具备丝毫的人文主义精神,反而是对人性的践踏和背叛。他在商业经营中表现出一些新经济的因素,但这并不足以撑起一个“新兴商人”形象,他仍然只能是资本主义萌芽时期封建商人的典型。Either for the source of his wealth or his management model, Ximen Qing has little nature of the new merchant, instead, he is more characteristic of a feudal one. The feudal politics he offends and the orders he destroys are only those that embody the people's interests. His sticking to the feudal regime about social rank and marriage and interest in cruelty to women discriminate him from the new citizens and those enlightened philosophers in the later Ming dynasty. What he clings to is the ugliest part of feudal politics and orders. His wild sexual experiences have nothing to do with humanism, they tramples on and betray the human nature. As a feudal merchant, he is not the new merchant himself, but his distant ancestor. The new economic factors in his management don't mean to bracket him with the new businessman, he is still a representative of feudal ones during the period when the capitalism sprouts.
