摘 要:考察了水溶性羧酸单体和羟基单体的类型对BA—MMA—St微皂乳液聚合及性能的影响。为了使水溶性单体在聚合后能有效地键合在乳胶粒表面而获得良好的稳定化作用,水溶性单体必须具有合适的亲水性,即其I/O应为2.5~5。微皂乳液涂膜的光泽及耐水性与所用水溶性单体的类型有关。联合使用MAA(或AA)和N—MA所制得的微皂乳液粒度细.所以用该乳液配制的涂料光泽比较好。采用亲水性太强的单体将使乳胶膜的耐水性变差。Effect of water-soluble monomers on the polymerization and property of the emulsifier-minor emulsion of BA-MMA-St was investigated in this paper. It is critical for good stabilization that the water-soluble monomers are effectively bound to the particle surface, which relies on their hydrophilicity. Experimental results indicated that the hydrophilic index I/O of the water-soluble monomers should preferably be 2. 5~5. The water-resistance and gloss of the latex films is relevant to the types of carboxylic and hydroxyl monomers. The particle size of the emulsifier-minor latex by using a combination of MAA(or AA) and N-MA is very small, so that the gloss of the film is better. The excessively hydrophilic carboxylic monomers can bring about poor water-resistannce.
