磁性聚合物粉的制备及在磁流变液中的应用初探

摘  要:采用化学镀的方法制备磁性聚合物粉,初步考察其在磁流变液中的应用。研究了在聚合物粉表面进行化学镀镍、钴的工艺条件,并对其物理性能和化学结构进行了表征。将磁性聚合物粉分散于硅油中制成磁流变液,结果发现不需加防沉剂,该磁流变液就具有较高的稳定性,其它磁流变性能也得到改善,有望解决磁流变液普遍存在的沉降问题。It was reported that preparation of magnetic polymer powder by electro-less plating and its preliminary application in magnetorheological fluids. This paper discussed process conditions of carrying electro-less plating nickel, plating cobalt on the polymer power. The result shows that we can obtain a not broken and spheres by using the optimum technological regular shape nickel or cobalt plated polymer microcondition of electro-less plating. The effective density of magnetic polymer micro-spheres is far lower than traditional magnetic particles, the former is 1.3 g/cm^3~ 1.4 g/cm^3 and the latter is 7 g/cm^3~8 g/cm^3. The magnetic polymer microspheres surface outlook, crystal structure of electro-less plating and composition in plating were characterized by SEM, XRD and EDS. The magnetic polymer powder is dispersed in the silicon oil to make into magnetorheological fluids, finding finally that magnetorheological fluids right away has a higher stability without needing to add anti-settling agent, other performance of magnetorheological fluids is improved too, it is hopeful to solve the sedimental stability of magnetorheological fluids.
