摘　　要：本文以北京西单北大街宏庙危改小区的方案设计为例,探讨了在旧城改造中新与旧的平衡与调和的一种方法：以城市街道和院落等公共和半公共空间及风、光、绿的通道的保存为基础的现代化密度、高容积率的改建,来求得现代城市生活与传统空间及生活印记的平衡和双赢。the paper discusses the balance of the new built and old in the old city with the design of the reconstruction project of Hongmiao Residential Quarter at Noth Xidan Street. The reconstruction being modern density and high plot ratio based on the public space and semi-public space of city street and courtyard and the way for wind, light and greening brought balance and twin-win of lift marks of the modern urban life and traditional space.
