摘　　要：呼和浩特是国家第二批历史文化名城,是蒙、汉、回、藏多民族聚居区。在旧城中仍保留着众多重要的历史古迹,但也存在着房屋老化、交通拥堵、基础设施落后等众多问题。本文介绍如何通过保护与整治规划的手段,来延续和突出旧城的历史文化特色,改善物质体形环境,促进当地旅游业的发展。Huhehot is the second batch of national historic city. Retaining numerous important historic spots and facing many realistic problems of＇ageing house, traffic congestion, and backwardness of urban basic facilities, it is a multinational settlement for Han, Mongolian, Hui and Tibetan nationality. This paper gives an account of how to maintain and stress the historic features of the old city, improve physical surroundings and promote the development of local tourism by means of conservation and remodeling plan.
