Objective To investigate the comprehensive damage of rats induced by alcohol and high fat diet and the protection of VitE, Methods Male SD rats were reared with different doses alcohol and high fat diet for 8 weeks.Serum MDA,Glu,T- CHO,TG level and organs relative weight of heart, hepatin and kidney were examined. Results the organs relative weight of hepafin of high fat diet group, alcohol(56V/V), and high fat diet and alcohol(28V/V) group were significantly increased than normal group. The organs relative weight of heart of alcohol (56V/V) group was significantly increased than normal group. The organs relative weight of kidney did not change significantly. The trend of MDA ,Glu ,T - CHO ,TG was similar to organs relative weight of hepatin . All parameters was significantly decreased in high fat diet and alcohol(28V/V) and VitE group . With the passing of time, GIu,T- CHO,TG was significantly increased than before. Conclusion High fat diet ,alcohol (56V/V), high fat diet and alcohol(28V/V) could lead to liver injury and alcohol (56V/V) could lead to heart injury. These could be in relation with the lipid peroxidation and VitE can protect from these damages.
